Bonus POTD: This was just an one period in-class exercise, on cheap 24" x 30" sketch paper.
I think it was still done reductively with Charkole, but I think I used white Conte and some medium black vine charcoal too. I don't quite remember, this was pretty early in the year. I still struggled with utilizing a wide value range, as well as some other compositional and contour issues. One of my first experiences with a nude model. And, oh boy, I
was not prepared for his twice-pierced...sac...eek! Nude drawing class models...yeesh.
